About the position

As a Content Marketing Manager at Bidsquare, you will be responsible for developing and executing content strategies that enhance brand awareness and attract organic traffic. This role involves creating high-quality content tailored to both B2C and B2B audiences, optimizing it for search engines, and collaborating with various marketing teams to ensure cohesive messaging across all channels.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive content strategies that support Bidsquare's marketing objectives.
  • Create high-quality content, including blog posts, articles, social media posts, and email campaigns, that engages and informs our audience.
  • Work with our SEO team to optimize content for search engines to improve visibility and drive organic traffic.
  • Manage and maintain a content calendar to ensure timely and consistent content delivery and updates.
  • Collaborate with other marketing team members to ensure alignment and synergy across all marketing channels.
  • Identify opportunities to write and issue consumer and trade press releases and maintain press list and relationships with key media outlets.
  • Maintain and update featured items and monthly finds to increase bidder engagement and promote through email marketing and social media.
  • Track and analyze content performance metrics to measure effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Art History, Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in content marketing or a similar role.
  • Proven track record in driving traffic, engagement for B2C and inbound leads, and optimizing funnel metrics and conversion rates for B2B business.
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Knowledge of SEO, growth marketing, and social media strategies.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing channels including social media, product marketing, content marketing, and email marketing.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS), Hubspot, Latr, and other marketing tools.
  • Ability to develop compelling value propositions and messaging that resonate with target audiences.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of fine art, antiques, and collectibles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
