About the position

The Content Marketing Manager at Lux Research will lead the content strategy and execution, focusing on creating engaging narratives that resonate with diverse audiences. This role is pivotal in driving marketing initiatives that support brand growth, lead generation, and customer engagement through storytelling and multi-channel content creation.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, targeted content to key audience segments at every stage of the buyer journey, from awareness to action to advocacy.
  • Take ownership of multi-channel content, including e-books, social media, blogs, client stories, infographics, emails, and website copy.
  • Thoughtfully transform complex, deep topics into compelling stories and scroll-stopping copy.
  • Strategize content for targeted campaigns, helping us hit marketing goals with your expert copy.
  • Proactively suggest and create content based on trending SEO keywords, timely world events, and industry trends.
  • Work closely with design and external agencies to format compelling content and ensure seamless execution.
  • Review research outputs, retrofit trending pieces for public facing content, and plan content aligned with client priorities.
  • Draft and manage forms, MQL conversion workflows, email blasts, social media content, and landing pages.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in content marketing, with a strong background in multi-channel content creation, copywriting, and leading content strategy initiatives.
  • Innovative, with a passion for storytelling and the ability to brainstorm and execute content that engages audiences across multiple formats (blogs, social media, e-books, etc.).
  • Expertise in developing and implementing comprehensive content strategies that align with overall marketing and business goals, with an emphasis on audience targeting, funnel optimization, and conversion tracking.
  • Ability to analyze performance metrics and adjust content strategies accordingly to meet and exceed KPIs (e.g., engagement, traffic, lead generation).
  • Skilled at working with leadership, research, sales, design, product, and marketing teams to align content initiatives with broader business objectives.
  • Strong project management skills, ensuring that content is delivered on time and meets quality standards, while balancing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Experience with optimizing social media platforms (primarily LinkedIn), content management systems (CMS) like WordPress, marketing automation platforms like Hubspot. Working knowledge of other tools such as Salesforce, Google Analytics, and Canva is a plus.

Nice-to-haves

  • A strong sense of creative design and contribution to visual content, bringing your ideas to life through basic design execution, using tools like Canva, and collaborating with design teams to ensure visual and written content are cohesive and brand-aligned.
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices and the ability to optimize content for search engines, including the development of a keyword strategy and tracking SERP rankings.
  • A passion for or background in science, technology, or environmental studies is a strong plus, especially for industries where these themes play a central role.
