About the position

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for creating and maximizing impactful, high-quality content across various channels to drive brand awareness, affinity, and conversion. This role requires exceptional writing and content strategy skills, with a focus on developing comprehensive content marketing strategies that align with marketing objectives and target audiences. The successful candidate will work closely with key partners across departments and report directly to the Director of Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement comprehensive content marketing strategies that align with marketing objectives and target audiences.
  • Create and manage a content calendar to ensure timely and relevant content delivery across all platforms.
  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities for content creation.
  • Stay updated on content marketing trends and bring new ideas for exploration and testing.
  • Partner with subject matter experts to develop original content in various formats, including blog posts, landing pages, and videos.
  • Oversee website content updates as needed.
  • Lead the creation and distribution of a monthly eNewsletter, ensuring it is engaging and informative.
  • Manage special projects to promote expertise and offerings, including external trade shows and events.
  • Ensure all content adheres to brand guidelines, voice, and style.
  • Measure and report on content performance; optimize based on results.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure cohesive and integrated marketing efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in content marketing or a related role; experience with B2B or B2C tech preferred.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful content strategies.
  • Experience in creating and managing newsletters and other external communications.
  • Strong understanding of content marketing best practices, SEO, and social media platforms.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft CRM Dynamics, web content management systems, marketing automation tools, basic HTML, SEO, and Google Analytics.

Benefits

  • Starting salary of $105,000 base + bonus
