About the position

The Content Marketing Manager at Portage Point Partners is responsible for developing and executing content marketing strategies that align with the firm's objectives. This role involves creating engaging content across various platforms to enhance brand awareness and digital presence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business writing and marketing, with a focus on SEO and analytics to optimize content performance.

Responsibilities

  • Design content marketing strategies that align with firm and practice line objectives.
  • Ideate, write, edit, proofread and improve content for website, email and social media.
  • Collaborate with Director, Marketing, PL leaders and other internal stakeholders to create and implement content marketing strategy.
  • Optimize content considering SEO, SEM and Google Analytics data.
  • Deliver consistently best-in-class, engaging content on a regular cadence.
  • Maintain content calendar and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Schedule and participate on content capture calls with content development partners.
  • Monitor competitor content marketing activities and market trends.
  • Utilize internal and external relationships to maintain a content pipeline.
  • Review, proofread and edit all case studies and communications materials.
  • Support internal communications development and execution.
  • Collaborate with team on various projects involving the firm's website and social accounts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a top undergraduate program.
  • Five plus years of proven work experience as a Content Coordinator, Content Marketing Manager or similar role.
  • Experience at a blue chip advisory or bulge bracket professional services firm.
  • Excellent communication, writing and editing skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with a goal-oriented attitude.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and WordPress or other Content Management Software.
  • Understanding of web publishing requirements, SEO and web traffic metrics.
  • Project management skills.

  • A degree in marketing, communications, journalism or similar field is preferred.
