About the position

The Content Marketing Manager at AutoZone is responsible for developing and executing the content strategy for ALLDATA, a leading provider of OEM automotive repair information. This role involves overseeing the creation, curation, and assessment of marketing assets across various channels, ensuring alignment with digital marketing tactics such as SEO, blogging, and social media. The manager will also monitor trends and product development to enhance customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate content distribution to intended audiences across all marketing channels by conducting market research and targeting content to specific audiences.
  • Manage the content team of writers and designers to develop content that meets company guidelines.
  • Maintain the editorial calendar by setting realistic content production and publishing deadlines.
  • Coordinate timelines and deliverables across the organization to execute marketing plans.
  • Gather input and feedback from sales, support, and account management about performance and results of marketing campaigns.
  • Implement product messaging, positioning, and pricing strategies and tactics.
  • Work with other business units to execute marketing activities related to product launches, updates/enhancements, and sunset.
  • Identify and develop product campaigns, promotions, and other marketing materials to drive lead generation and web sales in support of content strategy.
  • Write comprehensive creative briefs to kick off marketing projects.
  • Monitor, collect, and summarize performance through analytics platforms.
  • Manage budgets, spending requests, and invoice payments.
  • Identify and execute new marketing, messaging, and pricing programs.
  • Work with sales and retention to generate leads and brand awareness.
  • Continuously learn about competitors' positioning, pricing, and packaging programs.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and vendors to complete project tasks and deliverables.
  • Work with distribution channels to develop and execute pricing, packaging, and promotional activities.

Requirements

  • Five to seven years' experience leading teams in marketing, communication, and digital advertising.
  • Strategic planning, marketing, and product launch experience in SaaS.
  • Cost analysis, ROI, and financial modeling skills.
  • Market research and analysis capabilities.
  • Business planning and profit and loss accountability.
