About the position

Firebrand is seeking a Content Marketing Manager to develop and execute content strategies for tech startups. This role involves managing client relationships, creating diverse content formats, and analyzing campaign performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the B2B buying journey and be passionate about leveraging various content types to enhance marketing efforts. The position offers the opportunity to work closely with a senior team in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

Responsibilities

  • Client management -- work directly with clients on a daily basis advising on strategy, status, and performance of content marketing campaigns.
  • Content strategy -- strategize and execute campaigns from ideation to iteration.
  • Content creation -- develop content that aligns with clients' value propositions and differentiators, in a variety of formats.
  • Lead nurturing -- develop and reinforce relationships with leads at every stage of the funnel by providing the information and answers they need to build trust, and maintain a connection until prospects are ready to make a purchase.
  • Reporting -- reporting primarily based on custom-built dashboards to show the impact of content marketing campaigns, including website metrics (GA4) and CRM metrics (primarily HubSpot).
  • Agency -- involved in new business prospecting and pitching; team management and collaboration; developing demand generation methodologies; Firebrand ambassador.

Requirements

  • 5+ years' relevant B2B content marketing experience, ideally in an agency.
  • Experience in every stage of the B2B buying journey, from awareness to close.
  • A general understanding of MarTech systems including HubSpot, GA4, and WordPress.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Proven ability to multitask and take on multiple projects and clients simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Solid academic track record at least to Bachelor's degree level.
  • Tech sector domain expertise, including working with startups.
  • A strong portfolio of content you've created.
