In this role, the Content Marketing Manager will work closely with the Marketing Director to develop and implement strategies that enhance the company's brand, engage the target audience, and drive business growth. The manager will oversee the creation, curation, and distribution of high-quality content across multiple channels, including the company website, social media platforms, email campaigns, and print materials. This position requires strong leadership skills as the manager will lead, mentor, and provide professional development opportunities to a team of content creators, social media specialists, and marketing coordinators. The Content Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading marketing projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all deliverables are met according to established timelines and objectives. This includes the creative and innovative implementation of marketing campaigns that align with brand messaging, as well as providing precise attention to detail for editing and delivering feedback to team members. Collaboration with internal teams and external agencies is crucial to produce engaging and compelling content that resonates with the audience. Additionally, the manager will analyze campaign performance, provide actionable insights for optimization, and maintain project schedules while effectively managing resources. The role also involves attending industry events, promoting and selling all HASC lines of business, and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts. The ability to work under pressure and balance competing priorities is essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the creation, curation, and distribution of high-quality content across multiple channels, including website, social media, email, and print.
  • Manage, lead, and mentor a team of content creators, social media specialists, and marketing coordinators to execute campaigns and meet marketing objectives.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and professional development opportunities to team members, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Lead marketing projects from inception to completion, ensuring that all deliverables are met according to timelines and objectives.
  • Implement creative and innovative marketing campaigns that align with brand messaging with precise attention to detail for editing and delivering feedback to team members.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external agencies to produce engaging and compelling content.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Director and other stakeholders to plan, execute, and monitor integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Coordinate with creative, digital, and sales teams to ensure campaigns are executed on time and within budget.
  • Analyze campaign performance and provide actionable insights for optimization.
  • Maintain project schedules, track progress, and manage resources effectively.
  • Attend industry events occasionally, as needed, including but not limited to conferences, trade shows, golf tournaments, networking mixers, etc.
  • Identify and implement creative ways to advance our marketing and business development efforts.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts.
  • Utilize data-driven approaches to refine marketing strategies and tactics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in a marketing role.
  • Manager/Supervisor experience leading a team for 3+ years.
  • Experience in the petrochemical or oil and gas industry.
  • Valid and current Driver's License.
  • Strong initiative to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to lead meetings, conversations, and present with authority.
  • Analytical thinker with data analytics experience.
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with project, website, email, and social media tools (HubSpot, Asana, WordPress, etc.).
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Google Workspace applications.
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, content marketing, and social media marketing.
  • Thorough understanding of and ability to use Microsoft Office.
  • Google Analytics certification, HubSpot certifications.
