About the position

The Content Marketing Manager at HealthVerity will play a crucial role in shaping and implementing the content strategy for the organization. This position involves collaboration with various departments to produce high-quality content that resonates with clients in the pharmaceutical, government, and payer sectors. The manager will be responsible for leading research initiatives, managing the editorial calendar, and ensuring that all content aligns with HealthVerity's mission and tone.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the written voice for pharmaceutical manufacturer, government, and payer-facing clients.
  • Produce high-quality articles, white papers, blogs, press releases, email marketing, case studies, presentation content, and web copy.
  • Write clean, concise, well-polished, and provocative copy consistent with HealthVerity's tone and mission.
  • Lead research to drive thought leadership that fuels white papers, webinars, press, and enhances the reputation of HealthVerity.
  • Work closely with the Marketing team for collaborative content delivery across all digital channels.
  • Implement SEO best practices in web content to increase traffic to the website.
  • Manage the HealthVerity editorial calendar and written guidelines.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, competitor positioning, and customer challenges.
  • Assess the suitability of new social platforms if relevant.
  • Collaborate with the Design team to produce video, graphics, and collateral to accompany content.

Requirements

  • Healthcare / Life sciences industry experience required.
  • Bachelor's or Master's in marketing, communications, journalism, or related discipline.
  • 5+ years of digital marketing and content marketing work in a collaborative B2B environment.
  • Strong research, writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Experience in a deadline-oriented environment due to tight time restraints and volume of work.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively.
  • Experience managing KPIs and tracking effectiveness of content distribution.
  • Confident, enthusiastic, energetic, and self-motivated with a willingness to work as part of a team.
