About the position

LOWA Boots LLC is seeking a full-time Content Marketing Specialist to enhance the LOWA brand profile and sales by creating high-quality digital content that will be deployed across all LOWA digital marketing channels in the USA. The Content Marketing Specialist will report to the Director of Marketing and will collaborate with the marketing team to drive our digital marketing efforts in the USA, fostering consumer engagement and achieving our business objectives on both B2C and B2B levels. Candidates who will thrive in this role are passionate about the outdoors, outdoor gear, and digital communications, and have the skills to communicate this passion via engaging visual and written storytelling. In this role, you will produce original content as well as repackaged content that supports LOWA's strategic marketing and communications goals, focusing on high-level messaging. Examples of content include, but are not limited to, social media posts and stories, website copy, video promotions, marketing emails, and digital ads for paid media placements. You will be responsible for posting on multiple social media platforms multiple times a week and producing marketing email campaigns on a regular basis. Additionally, you will develop communications plans and marketing calendars, story ideas, and innovative strategies to generate and distribute content that supports the brand's strategic goals. Staying on top of industry trends and integrating new content formats and creative distribution channels into the brand's content strategy will be crucial. Collaboration with other LOWA marketing team members will ensure cohesive and effective content campaigns, while ensuring all content and strategic storytelling is accurate, on-brand, and meets the brand's high standards of quality and editorial excellence. You will also analyze audience insights, analytics, and feedback to refine content strategies and improve engagement across all channels, making this a dynamic and impactful role within the marketing team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop communications plans and marketing calendars, story ideas, and innovative strategies to generate and distribute content that supports the brand's strategic goals.
  • Stay on top of industry trends and integrate new content formats and creative distribution channels into the brand's content strategy.
  • Collaborate with other LOWA marketing team members to ensure cohesive and effective content campaigns.
  • Ensure all content and strategic storytelling is accurate, on-brand, and meets the brand's high standards of quality and editorial excellence.
  • Analyze audience insights, analytics, and feedback to refine content strategies and improve engagement across all channels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in digital marketing, communications, journalism, social media marketing or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in creating and editing digital content across various multimedia and social platforms, including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and email marketing campaigns.
  • Demonstrated proficiency and creativity in video production, digital photography and graphic design, copy writing.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Lightroom, Adobe InDesign.
  • Proficiency with email marketing platforms such as Mail Chimp, plus experience with Shopify is preferred.
  • Experience in marketing campaigns, SEO and content analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics), project management, and public/media/influencer relations.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness in all tasks and deliverables.
  • Ability to multi-task and produce content under tight deadlines, including on-site event coverage at outdoor consumer events and races.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication and people skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Shopify is preferred.
  • Familiarity with SEO and content analytics tools.
