About the position

The Content Marketing Writer at eGain will be responsible for creating engaging and actionable content tailored for B2B SaaS audiences. This role involves developing a variety of content types, maintaining a content calendar, and optimizing content for SEO to enhance visibility and engagement. The position is integral to executing content strategies that resonate with specific buyer personas throughout their journey.

Responsibilities

• Develop and write engaging, clear, and actionable content, including blogs, whitepapers, eBooks, case studies, emails, infographics, and social media posts that resonate with B2B SaaS audiences.
• Repackage long-form content into various formats (blog posts, social media snippets, video scripts) to maximize reach and engagement.
• Assist in developing and executing content strategies that target specific buyer personas and stages of the buyer's journey.
• Maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent, timely delivery of content assets and projects.
• Incorporate SEO best practices into content to drive organic traffic and improve search engine rankings for targeted keywords.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in B2B content writing, with a focus on SaaS.
• Strong portfolio of published content, showcasing experience in creating high-quality, customer-centric content that drives engagement and conversions.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail and consistency.
• Knowledge of SEO best practices, keyword research, and content optimization strategies.
