About the position

The Content Project Manager at the Dallas Mavericks will drive the execution of content projects and campaigns, ensuring objectives are met within time and resource constraints. This role involves overseeing all content projects, providing status updates to management, and supporting departments in documenting business and technical requirements during the planning phase.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the execution of projects and campaigns to meet objectives within time and resource constraints.
  • Support departments with the collection and documentation of business and technical requirements during the planning phase.
  • Serve as a liaison to the Content Leadership Team, vetting new requests and managing timelines and dependencies.
  • Facilitate cross-department communication in a fast-paced environment, leading project meetings and presenting updates.
  • Oversee tasks and timelines associated with all phases of content projects, including requirement gathering and creative design.
  • Draft production schedules and navigate adjustments due to risks or findings within projects and campaigns.
  • Be present for Content Team meetings and establish new recurring meetings as needed.
  • Advocate for the creatives on the Content Team and uphold standards while streamlining workflows.
  • Perform additional job-related duties as requested.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of project management experience required; 5 years preferred.
  • 3+ years of content experience required; 5 years preferred.
  • Experience facilitating meetings and presentations to stakeholders.
  • Experience using Asana or other project management tools to manage tasks and provide clear direction across the organization.
  • Production, Marketing or Communications degree in a related field.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Clear and concise verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • High level of professionalism and resilience navigating change.
