About the position

As a Content Strategist at VGM Forbin, you will be responsible for creating, executing, and optimizing content for marketing campaigns aimed at driving engagement and revenue. This role involves crafting engaging content across various digital channels, requiring strong research skills and a strategic mindset. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and effective communication of content strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Devise creative concepts and strategies for content across digital platforms
  • Create, edit, and publish content that aligns with the company's business objectives and user needs
  • Research and collaborate with industry experts to compile content
  • Craft effective content for websites, blogs/articles, and other online or print sources
  • Edit and proofread your content as well as other team members' materials
  • Identify and maintain the brand's voice and tone across all content
  • Ensure consistency in messaging and storytelling
  • Stay informed about current SEO trends and best practices
  • Optimize content for search engine performance
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess content impact
  • Maximize reach and engagement while staying within budget constraints
  • Regularly audit existing content to ensure relevance and quality
  • Develop and manage an editorial calendar for future content releases
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency
  • Communicate content strategies effectively to stakeholders
  • Assist with social media marketing and other digital marketing services
  • Assist the UX strategist/web content writer with web content for sites in any industry
  • Assist the VGM Forbin/forbinfi team with Quality Assurance on any internal/external project
  • Report and communicate with clients and/or internal team members
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of latest online marketing/content trends
  • Leverage online tools, including AI solutions, to maximize content quality and efficiency
  • Provide mentorship and support to team members
  • Transfer knowledge through workshops and QA content reviews

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Proven experience as a content strategist, copywriter, or similar role
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and Search Console
