About the position

The Content Strategy & Social Media Manager at Kohler Hospitality is responsible for developing and executing a storytelling strategy across digital and social media platforms. This role requires a blend of creativity and data-driven decision-making to create compelling narratives that align with the brand's key pillars and business objectives. The successful candidate will collaborate with various teams to amplify content, manage community engagement, and explore new channels to reach diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a storytelling strategy across owned digital and social media platforms.
  • Create compelling narratives that captivate audiences across various interests.
  • Seek new ways to bring experiences within Kohler destinations to life.
  • Collaborate with PR to amplify content from media coverage and brand partnerships.
  • Partner with Go-to-Market teams to highlight key business initiatives.
  • Manage and deliver a monthly content calendar reflecting broader marketing strategies.
  • Oversee community management across all platforms for Kohler and its various brands.
  • Create and implement social media guidelines for business-owned social accounts.
  • Explore and test new channels and content formats to engage audiences.
  • Act as a subject-matter-expert in social media and educate business partners on strategy.
  • Perform competitor analysis and track brand sentiment for business insights.
  • Use social media management software for scheduling and content creation.

Requirements

  • Four-year degree required, preferably in New Media, Communications, Advertising, Public Relations, Journalism, Business, or English.
  • 3+ years of experience in social media, preferably for luxury hotel properties.
  • Strong writing skills and ability to deliver high-quality work quickly.
  • Experience with social media platforms such as Sprinklr, Brandwatch, Hootsuite, or Salesforce.
  • Knowledge of Meta's advertising platform is required.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent project management skills.
  • Highly motivated, proactive self-starter, and excellent communicator.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Familiarity with emerging social media platforms and trends.
