About the position

As a Content Studio Creator at Procter & Gamble, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the creative direction of our in-house advertising agency, Coho. This position is designed for an entrepreneurial and visionary leader who is not only a self-starter but also a doer and creator. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire production process, which includes shooting photography, lighting, filming video, and editing content. Your primary focus will be on creating effective and award-winning short-form content for various platforms, including social media, e-content, print advertising, and packaging photography for North American ad campaigns. In this role, you will lead the charge in establishing and expanding our in-house creative studio. This involves defining and activating a strategic plan to enhance our capabilities and launching the Content Studio. You will develop a clear vision and strategic intents for the studio, ensuring that it remains competitive and operationally excellent. Additionally, you will be tasked with sourcing talent for short-form asset creation in collaboration with key team members, directing and managing a growing studio team, and providing creative success criteria and direction on all studio projects. Your expertise in production and editing will be crucial in ensuring that the work produced meets high standards, akin to Hollywood budgets. You will also be at the forefront of integrating AI capabilities into our production processes, working closely with creative teams to bring innovative ideas to life. This role is not just about managing a team; it’s about fostering a culture of creativity and excellence within the studio, coaching and developing staff to reach their full potential, and ensuring that our internal studio is a leader in the industry.

Responsibilities

  • Define and activate a plan to expand in-house capabilities and launch a Content Studio.
  • Develop studio vision and strategic intents.
  • Develop and implement a strategy to source talent for short form asset creation in partnership with key team members.
  • Direct and manage a soon-to-be larger studio team.
  • Provide creative success criteria and direction on all studio projects, ensuring operational excellence.
  • Integrate AI capabilities into production processes.
  • Work closely with creative teams to bring ideas to life.

Requirements

  • 10+ years proven experience in a directing leadership role within a creative or content studio.
  • Extensive knowledge of creative processes, content creation, and studio operations.
  • Excellent team management skills with experience in coaching and developing staff.
  • Strong network within the content creation community.
  • Proficiency in directing, editing, lighting, post-production (After Effects, color grading, sound design), and studio operations.
