Responsibilities

  • Write and edit high-quality content for StartCap and their clients' blogs, websites, newsletters, and social media platforms.
  • Create compelling copy for product descriptions, landing pages, and marketing collateral.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm new ideas and develop content strategies.
  • Research and write informative articles on topics related to start-ups, business financing, and entrepreneurship.
  • Ensure all content is optimized for basic SEO and aligns with the StartCap brand voice.
  • Proofread and edit content for clarity, grammar, and accuracy.
  • Stay updated on trends in digital marketing.

Requirements

  • Strong writing and editing skills with a passion for storytelling and audience engagement.
  • Ability to adapt tone and style for different formats (e.g., blog posts, email copy, social media, product descriptions).
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with content management systems is a big plus.
  • A passion for entrepreneurship and an understanding of the challenges faced by start-ups and small businesses.
