This role is designed for independent contractors who are ready to engage with clients on an ad-hoc, part-time, or short-term basis. Each engagement will vary in scope, budget, deliverables, and duration, allowing for a dynamic work environment that adapts to the needs of our clients. As a Digital Content Writer, you will be a creative storyteller who aligns with brand standards and ensures that messaging is consistent with the company's tone, guidelines, values, and mission. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, capable of producing compelling copy for various marketing channels, including email campaigns and collateral, all while adhering to tight deadlines. You will be responsible for transforming event agendas into engaging content that maximizes lead generation, showcasing your ability to understand the broader context of B2B content marketing, including brand voices, personas, and messaging. Your role will involve producing and publishing content across multiple digital platforms, including websites, blogs, and social media. You will work closely with key stakeholders to create, review, edit, and publish content that meets established requirements and standards. Additionally, you will monitor and analyze content performance, providing insights and suggestions for improvement, while employing SEO strategies to enhance online visibility. This position requires a self-motivated individual who can manage multiple projects simultaneously and effectively prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Produce and publish content across various digital platforms including websites, blogs, and social media.
  • Work directly with key stakeholders to create, review, edit, and publish content that meets established standards.
  • Monitor and analyze the performance of content to provide suggestions for improvement.
  • Utilize SEO strategies in writing to maximize online visibility.
  • Translate event agendas into compelling content that maximizes leads.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of digital content writing experience for marketing in the B2B space.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with little or no daily supervision.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and adhere to publication guidelines.
  • Strong time management skills, including prioritization and scheduling.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with various forms of digital, print, and video content such as emails, landing pages, newsletters, and social copy.
  • Samples of B2B work that demonstrate exceptional content quality.
