About the position

NextDoorDriving.com, a fast-growing company dedicated to providing top-quality online driver education and driving safety courses, is seeking a creative and driven Content Writer/Editor. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for writing, strong research skills, and an eagerness to dive into the online driver education industry. We are looking for an individual who is self-motivated, responsible, and capable of working with minimal supervision in our new corporate office based in Austin, TX. As we extend our presence to Texas, we're seeking passionate and skilled individuals to join our journey. In this position, you will be responsible for producing high-quality, engaging content that aligns with company objectives. You will conduct thorough research on subjects to attract and drive qualifying traffic, edit and refine content to ensure clarity, consistency, and quality, and develop and write content for driver education courses. Additionally, you will research and analyze driver education and traffic school requirements and regulations across different states, creating and producing materials that comply with state-specific laws and regulations. This is a long-term, in-house role that offers significant potential for career growth within our dynamic and rapidly expanding organization. As NextDoorDriving.com continues to grow and expand our team of writers, there will be opportunities to transition into a more editorial-focused role, with the potential to eventually manage the writing team.

Responsibilities

  • Produce high-quality, engaging content that aligns with company objectives.
  • Conduct thorough research on subjects to attract and drive qualifying traffic.
  • Edit and refine content to ensure clarity, consistency, and quality.
  • Develop and write content for driver education courses.
  • Research and analyze driver education and traffic school requirements and regulations across different states.
  • Create and produce materials that comply with state-specific laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Exceptional writing abilities with a strong command of English grammar.
  • Attention to detail in crafting and editing content.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., English, Creative Writing, Journalism, Marketing, etc.).
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage tasks efficiently.
  • Effective team collaboration skills and the ability to work independently.
