About the position

The Content Writer II position at Signature Performance is focused on developing compelling written content to support business growth, particularly in the healthcare sector. The role involves creating responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs), maintaining a content library, and collaborating with various departments to ensure effective communication of Signature's products and services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in persuasive writing, particularly within the federal government market, and will thrive in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs) for federal agency audiences.
  • Support additional writing assignments, including capabilities summaries, case studies, and white papers.
  • Maintain and organize a content library with templates, capabilities statements, company overviews, and other materials.
  • Conduct interviews and research to gather information from subject matter experts.
  • Acquire in-depth expertise of Signature's products and services, including new service lines.
  • Stay updated on healthcare, proposal, and marketing industries through educational opportunities and publications.
  • Collaborate with representatives from various departments including Operations, IT, HR, Compliance, Contracting, Legal, and Finance.

Requirements

  • BS/BA in a related discipline or advanced degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Five years of persuasive writing experience in the Federal Government market, particularly in healthcare or information technology.
  • Proficiency in Adobe PDF and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Previous use of Qvidian or a similar content library management system.
  • Familiarity with governmental procurement methodology.
  • Understanding of healthcare administration or healthcare provider operations.
