About the position

The SEO Content Writer will play a crucial role in enhancing the online presence of a healthcare association by creating and optimizing content for search engines. This hybrid position requires collaboration with team members to ensure content aligns with SEO best practices and AP style guidelines. The writer will be responsible for planning, executing, and managing content creation, ensuring it meets the needs of various platforms and audiences.

Responsibilities

• Reviewing, editing, and auditing content for AP style and SEO best practices
• Planning and writing highly SEO optimized content based on SEO keyword reports
• Helping plan, execute, and manage content creation, review cycles, and approvals

Requirements

• Experience with SEO keyword research and AP style writing
• Proficiency in both long and short form content creation
• Experience with content marketing planning, writing, and editing
• Ability to make content decisions based on SEO keyword reports
• Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics, SEMRush, and BrightEdge
