As a Content Writer for the Reading team at NewGlobe, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our leveled Reading program, which is designed to cater to the diverse proficiency levels of students. This position is integral to our mission of transforming public education systems and ensuring that all children have access to high-quality educational resources. You will report directly to a Director and will be responsible for leading various projects aimed at improving the Reading program and developing new levels of content. Your work will involve collaborating closely with a Literacy Specialist and an Instructional Design Director to create a remedial version of our current program, specifically targeting older students who face significant reading challenges. Additionally, you will oversee the development of higher levels of the Reading program, which includes building a comprehensive scope and sequence, managing the creation of three textbooks, and working alongside a Product Manager to develop teacher guides. This role requires a deep understanding of effective, evidence-based reading strategies and familiarity with literacy content development. You will need to manage your time effectively, ensuring that you meet deadlines while collaborating with relevant team members. Strong organizational skills are essential, as you will be responsible for tracking progress on multiple projects simultaneously. The position combines content development, program management, and collaboration, all aimed at producing high-quality deliverables that drive student achievement.
