About the position

The Content Writer role is a contributor position within our Professional Services team, primarily focused on developing content assets that support various mediums and authoring marketing materials such as blogs, articles, and advertising messaging. You will be responsible for producing compelling content across multiple formats and engaging with various audience personas. This role requires a creative thinker who can effectively communicate complex technical concepts in an engaging manner that resonates with the intended audience. You will work closely with professional services team leaders to establish the conceptual and content direction for campaigns, ensuring that all content aligns with performance goals across multiple brands. In this role, you will produce, edit, and deliver content that is not only compelling and easy to understand but also adheres to brand guidelines and leverages SEO best practices. You will author content for advertising campaigns, long-form pieces such as white papers and blogs, and other content types. Additionally, you will support interviews with subject matter experts and ensure the consistency and accuracy of all written materials, including technical guides, case studies, websites, and corporate communications. You will also be involved in managing and maintaining systems that drive efficiency, such as editorial calendars and content audits.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with professional services team leaders to determine the conceptual and content direction for campaigns and performance goals across multiple brands.
  • Produce, edit, and deliver compelling content that is easy to understand, on-brand, and backed by data and research.
  • Author content to support advertising campaigns as well as long-form copy like white papers, blogs, and other content types.
  • Support interviews with subject matter experts (engineers and other technical departments/contacts).
  • Learn technical concepts and communicate them in an engaging manner that is understood by the intended audience.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of written material including copy for white papers, technical guides, case studies, websites, blogs, press releases, video scripts and overlays, email newsletters, social media, advertisements, brochures, and corporate communications.
  • Modify on-page content using information in collaboration with the SEO leader.
  • Support implementing, managing, and maintaining guides, systems, and processes that drive efficiency and effectiveness including editorial calendars, content plans, content audits/inventories, style guides, and analytics.

Requirements

  • At least 3+ years of experience in effective content writing.
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related communications field.
  • Experience achieving measurable business objectives with content.
  • Direct or indirect B2B manufacturing experience is a plus.
