About the position

The Tyndale Company, a recognized leader in the flame-resistant clothing industry, is seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our Content Marketing team. This role is pivotal in managing corporate communications and ensuring high-quality, accurate, and timely responses to content marketing requests from both prospective clients and existing customers. The Marketing Specialist will collaborate closely with various departments, including sales, finance, legal, and operations, to prepare responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and other inquiries. This position is essential for retaining and winning new business, making it a critical component of Tyndale's marketing strategy. In this role, the Marketing Specialist will be responsible for creating and managing a steady stream of relevant content for Tyndale's blog, newsletters, and internal communication platforms. The Specialist will also work with the digital marketing team to ensure that all content aligns with Tyndale's brand voice and messaging. This includes writing compelling short-form copy for advertisements and participating in brainstorming sessions for blog and email content. The Marketing Specialist will also be tasked with updating key content on internal drives and digital asset management platforms to support RFP responses and proposals. Tyndale supports a hybrid work environment, requiring onsite work at least one day per week while allowing for remote work the remaining days. Candidates must reside within a commutable distance from Tyndale's headquarters in Pipersville, PA, or the Houston, TX location. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to Tyndale's online marketing strategy, including email marketing campaigns, blog posts, and web content development, all aimed at expanding brand awareness and increasing sales.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures high quality, accurate and timely responses to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs from customers and prospects.
  • Possesses excellent writing and editing skills, strong attention to detail and organizational skills necessary for the management of multiple documents, projects, and the coordination and assembly of response documentation.
  • Collaborates closely with the digital and events marketing team to provide clear and concise content as-needed on various websites, in online advertising, email campaigns, and other incidental areas.
  • Ensures a steady stream of relevant and timely content is available for publication on Tyndale's blog, newsletters, internal communication platforms, in PowerPoint (.ppt) slides, and email marketing.
  • Creates compelling short-form copy for advertisements across various platforms, ensuring consistency in brand voice and messaging.
  • Participates in blog and email content brainstorming, creation, and calendar assignments, coordinating video content with online team as needed.
  • Efficiently creates stock and ad-hoc emails as needed.
  • Regularly updates key content available to the content team on the internal drive and on digital asset management platforms to support RFP responses and proposals.
  • Responds to sales team requests for proposals, customized content, and ad-hoc requests, frequently requiring quick turnaround.
  • Supports web content development for all Tyndale sites: TyndaleUSA.com, TyndaleFRC.TyndaleUSA.com, Express.TyndaleUSA.com, Shop.TyndaleUSA.com.
  • Constantly seeks opportunities to improve, innovate, and contribute to strong ROI.
  • Collaborates effectively with all levels of management, both internally and externally.
  • Ensures that brand positioning and messaging is consistent across channels.
  • Utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) responsibly to draft, proof, and brainstorm content.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in marketing, communications, professional writing, or other business-related field required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in general corporate marketing. Agency experience considered.
  • Stellar writing skills are a key requirement of this position. Accurate grammar and spelling are particularly important.
  • Experience with short-form copy writing required.
  • Experience reviewing and responding to RFPs for large companies preferred.
  • Experience utilizing AI in a responsible, hands-on manner is crucial. Content generated using AI should be limited and modified by the Marketing Specialist to mirror the company's voice, core values, and strategic initiatives and follow company guidelines.
  • Previous data and analysis reporting experience.
