About the position

Foundation Software is seeking a creative and self-driven SEO Content Writer to create engaging and informative content for its five websites. The role focuses on writing content optimized for search engines while ensuring it remains interesting for readers. The writer will collaborate with the SEO specialist and content teams to identify relevant topics and trends, aligning content with business goals.

Responsibilities

• Creating, editing, and publishing written content for various formats and digital channels.
• Controlling the product's tone of voice across different channels to create a consistent user experience.
• Educating and inspiring the audience to attract new visitors to the platform.
• Collaborating with team members in design and software development to bring content briefs to life.
• Managing multiple requests and delivering quality content under tight deadlines.
• Ensuring effective management of timelines and content workflows.
• Maintaining adherence to online content standards and internal style guides.
• Assisting with User Journey Mapping, FAQs, and on-page content configuration.
• Building relationships with stakeholders internally and externally.
• Ensuring a diverse web presence by sharing content across multiple channels.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an SEO Writer, Web Editor, or similar role.
• Portfolio of live work across various websites and channels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
• Problem-solving skills with experience in reviewing and editing work for grammar, style, and tone.
• Clear, concise, and unambiguous writing style.
• Ability to mentor junior writers in SEO best practices.
• Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple content tasks simultaneously.
• In-depth knowledge of SEO best practices, keyword research, and digital marketing.
• Experience with SEO software tools (e.g., Ahrefs, Google Search Console).
• Experience navigating GA4 and identifying opportunities to grow audiences via websites.
• Understanding of product copywriting, user experience, usability, and design flow.
