DocMagic is seeking a talented Content Writer to join our dynamic team. In this role, the Content Writer will be the key creator of B2B content that supports DocMagic's lead generation, educational, and brand positioning efforts. You will collaborate closely with the Marketing Manager, Sales, Product Development teams, and external partners to develop high-quality content that resonates with our audience. Your responsibilities will include writing, editing, and repurposing content for various marketing needs, including emails, white papers, case studies, blog posts, articles, product descriptions, and social media. You will also become a product expert, identifying critical benefits and key differentiators of DocMagic's offerings in a way that drives action. The ideal candidate will actively measure content KPIs to determine which messaging adds the most value and will be responsible for managing and growing DocMagic's presence across social media channels. You will conduct keyword research and utilize SEO best practices to increase traffic to our website, ensuring that our content remains relevant and impactful in the ever-evolving mortgage technology landscape. Responsibilities

  • Write, develop, and manage various content types, including emails, white papers, articles, editorial submissions, web content, short video scripts, and social media posts.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Operations Specialist to evaluate and analyze content metrics to optimize subject lines, types of content, language, etc.
  • Responsible for the ideation, research, and posting of blog posts.
  • Traffic content to internal/external partners for approval and distribution.
  • Manage and grow DocMagic's presence across social media channels, including X (formerly Twitter), Facebook, and LinkedIn.
  • Analyze content marketing metrics and make changes as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to write and create innovative content ideas for our industry.
  • Write and research content for product descriptions and industry webinars.
  • Assist the marketing team in developing content for marketing campaigns.
  • Review and copyedit content produced by members of the Marketing team, PR agency, and at times, by other DocMagic employees.
  • Edit and polish evergreen content to improve readability.
  • Conduct keyword research and use SEO best practices to increase traffic to the company website.
  • Identify customers' needs and recommend new content to address gaps in the company's current content.
  • Conduct in-depth research on industry-related topics to develop original content.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating content libraries as needed.
  • Follow mortgage technology industry news to understand critical issues and ensure DocMagic's content is relevant to the times.
  • Follow competitors to fine-tune our positioning and language to stand apart.
  • Maintain a database of approved content and follow approval guidelines.

Requirements

  • BA degree in Communications, Marketing, English, Journalism, or related field
  • 5+ years of content writing experience, ideally for the mortgage and/or financial industries
  • Deep experience with marketing to B2B audiences
  • Ability to conduct research and fact-check content prior to review
  • Ability to write and repurpose content to support marketing/sales efforts
  • Ability to manage an editorial calendar
  • Strong ability to think creatively and innovatively
  • Strong copywriting skills

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the mortgage, lending, or banking industries
  • Familiarity with SaaS marketing
