About the position

Wholesome Goods, Inc. is seeking a talented Content Writer to join their in-house team. This role involves scripting, storyboarding, and executing online ad campaigns for various platforms. The Content Writer will independently research industry-related topics to understand trends and create engaging content that showcases Wholesome Goods branded products. This position is primarily on-site with one hybrid-remote day on Wednesdays.

Responsibilities

• Develop, execute, and proof scripts for new and existing video ad campaigns across social media platforms.
• Collaborate with an Ad Creative Designer to create storyboards using the AIDA marketing format.
• Plan and attend pre-production meetings with necessary parties including supervisors and production teams.
• Coordinate with talent and contractors to assign roles in the production process.
• Lead and manage projects from conceptualization to completion using interdepartmental applications.
• Identify customer needs and gaps in ad content, recommending solutions.
• Utilize Marketing Brand guidelines for style, flow, and context in content creation.
• Keep the team informed with current trends and new ideas.
• Address feedback efficiently and productively.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• At least 2-3 years of experience in copywriting/content writing for websites or online content.
• A strong portfolio showcasing written content.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to communicate with contractors and colleagues.
• Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong time management skills, including prioritizing and scheduling tasks.
• Proficiency with writing programs, especially Google Docs.
• Enthusiastic, sociable, and a team player with high emotional intelligence.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in content creation (1 year preferred).
• Experience in creative writing (1 year preferred).
• Experience in social media marketing (1 year preferred).
