We are seeking a talented and reliable Content Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in creating informative and engaging blog posts about local events across multiple U.S. markets. This role requires a strong attention to detail, the ability to conduct thorough research, and experience with WordPress for content publishing. Responsibilities

• Research and write multiple blog posts weekly (approximately 2,000 words each) covering local events, activities, and happenings in various U.S. markets.
• Format and publish blog posts in WordPress, including the integration of images and rich media.
• Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity, and alignment with brand voice.
• Perform updates and revisions to posts based on team feedback before publishing.
• Conduct thorough research using online resources to ensure the content is credible and factually correct.
• Maintain an organized workflow to meet deadlines consistently.

Requirements

• Proven experience in writing blog posts or content creation (a portfolio showcasing previous work is required).
• Familiarity with WordPress, including uploading and formatting blog posts with images and multimedia elements.
• Strong research skills and the ability to produce accurate, high-quality content.
• Excellent grammar, punctuation, and editing skills.
• Ability to manage multiple assignments and work effectively under deadlines.
• Basic understanding of SEO best practices and how to apply them in content writing is a plus.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
