About the position

Wholesome Goods, Inc. is seeking a talented Content Writer to join their fast-growing e-commerce team. The role involves scripting, storyboarding, and executing online ad campaigns while researching industry-related topics to understand trends. The Content Writer will create both short-form and long-form ad content for various platforms, collaborating closely with the Ad Creative Designer and other team members to ensure high-quality output that aligns with the brand's marketing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Script and storyboard online ad campaigns for various social media platforms.
• Research industry-related topics to understand trends and inform content creation.
• Develop, execute, and proof scripts for new and existing video ad campaigns.
• Create storyboards using the AIDA marketing format in collaboration with the Ad Creative Designer.
• Plan and attend pre-production meetings with necessary parties.
• Coordinate with talent and contractors to assign roles in the production process.
• Lead and manage projects from conceptualization to completion using interdepartmental applications.
• Identify customer needs and gaps in ad content, recommending solutions.
• Maintain familiarity with Wholesome Goods' brand image, products, and services.
• Address feedback efficiently and productively.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (preferred).
• 2-3 years of experience in copywriting/content writing for websites or online content.
• Strong portfolio of written content.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with contractors and colleagues.
• Highly detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
• Proficiency in writing programs, especially Google Docs.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in content creation (1 year preferred).
• Experience in creative writing (1 year preferred).
• Experience in social media marketing (1 year preferred).
