The Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Content Writer is responsible for creating, optimizing, and editing web content to improve the online visibility and search engine ranking of our SEO client base. This role requires a deep understanding of SEO best practices, keyword research, and content marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing and editing skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with the marketing team to enhance our clients' presence. Additionally, the SEO Content Writer will manage a team of virtual assistant writers, ensuring consistent quality and performance across all content.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, edit, and optimize content for websites, blogs, social media, and other digital platforms to ensure they are SEO-friendly and engaging.
  • Conduct keyword research and use SEO guidelines to increase web traffic.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement content strategies that align with business goals.
  • Monitor and analyze website performance metrics, making data-driven recommendations for content improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices.
  • Ensure all content is consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice, and optimized for search and user experience.
  • Perform regular audits of existing content to identify and act on opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage and update content calendars to ensure timely publication.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of writers, providing guidance and feedback to ensure high-quality output.
  • Utilize programs such as Zimmwriter and PageOptimizer Pro to enhance content optimization and performance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an SEO Content Editor, Content Writer, or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of SEO principles and content marketing strategies.
  • Proficiency in using SEO tools such as Ahrefs.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience managing a team of writers.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of industry-specific SEO trends and audience preferences.
  • Basic understanding of HTML.
  • Proficiency in using programs like Zimmwriter and PageOptimizer Pro for content optimization.
