About the position

The Content Writer/Data Associate position at H10 Capital is a contract role based in Boston, MA, designed for a duration of three months. The primary focus of this role is to review both machine-generated and human-generated demonstrations to produce preference data. The successful candidate will operate autonomously, utilizing their judgment in data generation while identifying and reporting any operational challenges that may arise. Additionally, the role involves suggesting process improvements and mentoring or training junior data associates to enhance team performance. In terms of content creation, the Content Writer will be responsible for generating original and engaging content for large language model (LLM) training. This includes writing clear, concise, and accurate responses that adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and guidelines. The candidate will also be tasked with proofreading and editing content to ensure quality and consistency, as well as approving or rejecting content based on established guidelines, providing reasoning for their decisions. Performing quality checks and offering constructive feedback will be essential components of this role, alongside collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements and participating in training and project management as needed.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or similar role
  • Strong proficiency in English (verbal, writing, reading, comprehension)
  • 1 year of copy editing experience
  • 1 year of creative writing experience

Nice-to-haves

  • 2-4 years of content writing experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Linguistics, Journalism, Communications)
  • Adaptable writing style and logical decision-making skills
  • Understanding of academic integrity (e.g., plagiarism)
