About the position

We are seeking a Content Writer to join our team at Computer Nerds Inc. The role involves creating various types of written content, including blog posts, articles, guides, and marketing copy, aimed at enhancing our website and increasing brand awareness. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, hard-working, and possess a strong portfolio of published articles.

Responsibilities

• Research topics from a variety of sources and pitch new ideas
• Write clear and engaging content
• Use our Content Management System to create structured drafts
• Use search engine optimization (SEO) techniques and keyword research to increase traffic to articles
• Edit and proofread content prior to submission
• Coordinate with other teams to develop complementary content
• Promote using social media

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
• Previous experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter, or in a similar position
• Strong portfolio of published articles
• Ability to do in-depth research
• Strong writing and editing skills
• Familiarity with WordPress or other Content Management Systems
• Ability to meet deadlines and work with limited supervision
