About the position

The Continuous Improvement/PWS Lead at Perrigo is responsible for optimizing plant output and reducing non-value added waste through the implementation of the Perrigo Work System (PWS). This role focuses on supporting operational goals by leading initiatives that enhance efficiency and productivity in a cross-functional environment. The position requires a strong emphasis on data analysis, project execution, and the application of lean manufacturing principles to drive continuous improvement across the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Optimize plant output while reducing non-value added waste.
  • Lead and support initiatives created through the Perrigo Work System (PWS).
  • Collect data, perform analysis, and develop countermeasures for improvement projects.
  • Implement improvement-based capital projects through business partnership.
  • Support the deployment of the next phase of PWS across the Holland site.
  • Analyze top-down cost and output improvements for Kaizen and lean efforts.
  • Implement Lean Practices to improve cost and output deliverables.
  • Drive and influence change across multiple departments by implementing factory standards.
  • Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Identify new sources of data and methods of data collection, analysis, and reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering or related field.
  • Previous experience in an FDA regulated industry preferred.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing and ability to implement lean tools and methodologies.
  • Strong technical background in high volume and complex manufacturing environments.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel with macros).
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to learn and understand complex equipment capabilities and operations.

Nice-to-haves

  • Minimum of 5+ years in industrial or process engineering.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred.
