About the position

Contra is seeking a creative and strategic Social Media Manager to enhance our brand's social media presence. This role involves developing and executing effective social media strategies to engage our target audience, build brand awareness, and drive growth across various platforms. The Social Media Manager will be responsible for day-to-day activities, including content creation, community management, and performance analysis, all while aligning with Contra's mission and goals.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute social media strategies to meet Contra's brand and marketing goals.
  • Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
  • Monitor social media channels, respond to comments, messages, and interact with followers to foster a strong online community.
  • Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to align social media content with broader campaigns.
  • Use social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, etc.) to plan and track content.
  • Analyze social media performance using analytics tools, generating reports, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, platform updates, and emerging best practices.
  • Manage paid social media advertising campaigns and optimize for performance.
  • Work with influencers, brand ambassadors, and partners to amplify content.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and their respective audiences.
  • Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and generate reports to inform strategy.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to develop engaging content.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with paid social media advertising campaigns.
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
