About the position
The Contract / Acquisition Subject Matter Expert (SME) will provide comprehensive acquisition support, including contract award and management, to ensure effective program direction and resolution of contract-related issues. This role involves preparing solicitations, conducting contractor analyses, and supporting contract negotiations to protect government interests while fulfilling client acquisition requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide Acquisition support and Contract Award and Management support.
- Prepare pre-solicitation memoranda and analyze contractors to determine capable sources for solicitation.
- Prepare solicitations that legally protect the Government's interests.
- Recommend solutions for various contract topics.
- Provide Cost and Pricing support to Contracting Officers, including analyzing proposals and preparing negotiation documentation.
- Support Contracting Officers in day-to-day contract administration activities.
- Prepare contract award and task order documentation, contract modifications, and correspondence.
Requirements
- Must have TS/SCI CI poly Clearance and NRO experience.
- Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level II or III certification, or comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in business or a technical field.
- Experience managing routine to moderately complex matters in the relevant subject area.
