About the position

The Contract Administrator at McLeod Software plays a crucial role in managing and processing software product and service contracts. This position involves close collaboration with the Sales and Executive teams to ensure contracts are reviewed, executed, and distributed efficiently. The role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail to oversee various contract-related tasks and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and review contracts from the Sales Department and prepare them for executive review.
  • Oversee the setup of new business, upgrade contracts, and NDAs, managing engagement processing tasks.
  • Monitor the status of down payments received to prepare contracts for execution.
  • Utilize internal systems and financial systems to set up new customers and document pertinent information relating to agreements.
  • Perform data entry tasks including entering prepaid dollars, fixed fees, licensing of products purchased, and all work orders related to specific contracts/customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university; or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Legal/litigation experience, such as paralegal experience or experience related to the trucking industry.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with NetSuite
  • Mid-level litigation experience

Benefits

  • Full-time position with competitive salary range of $60.4K - $76.5K per year.
