About the position

The Contract Analyst at Johnson & Johnson MedTech Commercial is responsible for managing the entire contracting process, including contract authoring, negotiation, execution, compliance, and maintenance of various agreements. This role involves ensuring data integrity, conducting audits, and collaborating with external organizations for rebates and payment reporting, all while adhering to corporate guidelines and legal regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Draft, negotiate, and finalize independent contracts including redlining and price activation.
  • Ensure accurate customer data capture and initiate contract offers for approvals.
  • Track and document all redline negotiations and decisions.
  • Adjust standard contract language as necessary following prescribed guidelines.
  • Maintain existing agreements, including amendments, extensions, and terminations.
  • Administer Admin Fees and rebates according to contractual commitments.
  • Archive and maintain contract documents as required.
  • Generate compliance reports and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Manage compliance periods and implement approved compliance actions.
  • Oversee eLOCs and manage the Field approval/disapproval process.
  • Prepare contract compliance reports and provide analytical support for internal requests.
  • Maintain the contracting mailbox and ensure correct customer pricing in systems.
  • Maintain a master contract database with tracking data.
  • Prepare monthly contract reports and analysis as needed.
  • Investigate and resolve customer pricing disputes in collaboration with Finance and Customer Service.
  • Process RPO Implementation Forms for new customer setups.
  • Maintain current IDN Affiliation and GPO roster data.
  • Assist with contracting projects as needed.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of contract administration experience required.
  • 4-Year degree in business or related field preferred.
  • Prior experience in direct (GPO/IDN) contracting and pricing highly preferred.
  • Prior experience in the medical device industry preferred.
  • Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge required.
  • Advanced experience with various data file structures and large data sets preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills required.
  • Ability to function independently and as part of a team required.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment required.
