CONTRACT ANALYST

About the position

The Contract Analyst I position at Johns Hopkins Health System involves providing support to the Supply Chain Department by managing transactional, analytical, and project management tasks. The role focuses on leveraging business intelligence to identify opportunities for establishing or renegotiating agreements for supplies, services, and pharmaceuticals, while ensuring accurate maintenance of contract data in the ERP system. The analyst collaborates with various supply chain specialists to enhance the end-to-end supply chain process and support the clinical mission of Johns Hopkins Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Support senior staff with data gathering and analysis of RFPs.
• Manage lower complexity SRM contracts.
• Resolve price discrepancies and PO price exceptions for assigned SRM contracts.
• Assist with value analysis committees, including slide development, minutes, and documentation of decisions.
• Manage the Stuck Requisition File in conjunction with Procurement.
• Assist with managing expiring contracts.
• Ensure contract fields are accurately represented and items are appropriately slotted to contracts.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Public Health, Hospital Administration, or related business/finance areas.
• 6 months of experience in a professional environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with all levels of the organization.
• Ability to work in a team and coordinate work across team members.
• Adaptability to changing circumstances and ability to sequence competing priorities.
• Basic skill level with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• General budget awareness and understanding of how supply chain processes impact budgets.
