About the position

The Contract and Project Administrator role is a full-time position focused on supporting project managers and planners in the construction sector. The position involves tracking critical project information, maintaining records, assisting with financial data entry, and preparing various written materials. The role requires a blend of administrative support and project management responsibilities, ensuring effective communication and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Support the project managers and planners across their portfolios.
  • Track critical information and maintain records and files on construction projects including meeting minutes, closeout submittals, and other project-related tasks.
  • Assist and support financial data entry; processing NOC's, PCO's, CO's, and contracts.
  • Develop spreadsheets for internal and external review.
  • Prepare written materials including correspondence, reports, procedural guides, and instructions.
  • Perform other project administrative support tasks as required.
  • Receive training, participate in company activities, and perform administrative duties.
  • Maintain project management support responsibility in close liaison with the project team.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in construction or related fields.
  • B.S. in an industry-related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of construction principles, construction management, project, and document controls.
  • Direct client contact and client care experience.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in federal, state, municipal, K-12 school, water/wastewater, higher education, laboratory facilities, transportation, ports, or marina projects.
