EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants is seeking a Construction Risk Management Contract Analyst (Attorney) to join their team in Birmingham, Alabama. This role involves utilizing legal expertise to assist specialty construction contractor clients with contractual risk identification, management, and insurance coverage issues. Responsibilities

• Conduct contractual risk analysis by reviewing and analyzing construction-related client contracts to identify risk exposures and provide practical advice.
• Provide clients with guidance on contractual risk management, strategies, and training.
• Engage with client personnel to assist in developing contractual risk and insurance provisions that align with clients' insurance coverage.
• Work with colleagues to identify coverage gaps and contractual exposures in prospective client insurance programs.
• Assist in business development activities, including capabilities presentations and RFP responses.
• Engage with current clients in scheduled EPIC Risk Management Reviews to discuss exposures, market conditions, and claims status.
• Maintain required legal/insurance licenses and stay updated on industry trends.
• Attend seminars and training programs as necessary.

Requirements

• Licensed attorney with at least 2+ years of relevant legal experience.
• Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA-approved program.
• Experience in contracts management, insurance coverage, or construction law.
• Strong professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
