About the position

As a Contract Compliance Officer, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our facility maintenance contractors remain on course, meeting every checkpoint outlined in their service agreements. Your mission? Ensure the highest level of service for passengers, tenants, and employees by keeping a sharp eye on contract performance and quality expectations. Standard hours for this role are 7:00 am - 3:00 Monday - Friday, occasional work outside of these hours, including evenings and weekend, will be required.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures contractor compliance with the standards and technical requirements of airport service agreements, examples of contracts include, but are not limited to janitorial services, landscaping services, pest control services, interior plantscape services, solid waste services, elevator/escalator maintenance and repair, baggage handling system and passenger boarding bridge maintenance and repair.
  • Performs frequent inspections (daily or weekly) of outsourced services and initiates corrective action to resolve deficiencies.
  • Meets with service providers on a regular basis to review progress and discuss problems/issues.
  • Update and follow the Contract Management Plan (CMP) to ensure all deliverables are achieved and customers are experiencing world-class airport services.
  • Ensures contractor compliance with Airport rules and regulations, governmental policies, and general safety procedures.
  • Responds to and investigates customer complaints regarding outsourced services.
  • Collaborates and communicates with tenants, governmental agencies, and Authority business units regarding issues that may impact normal operations.
  • Reviews invoices for accuracy and processes them for payment.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree in Construction, Building Systems Technology, Business or other applicable field or related trade or equivalent related experience.
  • 3 years of experience in contract management.
  • Valid NC Driver's License.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction, Building Systems, Business Administration or other applicable field or related trade.
  • 5 years of experience in contract management.
