Nintendo of America Inc. is seeking a talented Graphic Designer to join our team on a contract basis. This position is based in Redmond, WA, and requires a hybrid work schedule, meaning regular onsite work is necessary. The Graphic Designer will be responsible for designing creative solutions for various internal requests, utilizing strong technical skills and a keen eye for detail. The role involves working on both large-scale projects and packaging assignments, with tasks assigned at the manager's discretion. The designer must understand and adhere to brand guidelines and style guides while also being aware of company priorities and emerging technologies in the design world. In this role, the Graphic Designer may lead design efforts on software titles, setting the creative direction and communicating that direction to other designers. Collaboration is key, as the designer will provide input, feedback, and constructive criticism on designs, contributing to the overall success of the team. The designer will create layouts for various print projects, including logos, packaging, manuals, and marketing materials, and may also design software packaging, inserts, and label art. Additionally, the designer will work closely with internal teams, such as the Localization team, to ensure that game manuals and packaging layouts meet the necessary standards. The Graphic Designer will also be involved in designing graphics for events and trade shows, such as banners, posters, and flyers. This position requires a strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively, supporting cross-functional efforts with other members of the design team as needed.
