About the position

The Contract Hardware Engineer Mid-Level will support the ASIC/FPGA Design Team within the Engineering Department of a leading technology company in the electronics industry. This role involves contributing to digital architecture, design, and verification, while also providing technical leadership and guidance to project teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and will thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Capture requirements and contribute to the digital architecture, design, and verification using RTL.
• Recommend and implement new tools and practices for the design flow.
• Provide guidance to project teams, plan activities, and report status.
• Work on timing closure, system integration, and overall design optimization.
• Utilize ASIC/FPGA simulation and synthesis tools such as Modelsim, Synplify, Quartus, Vivado.

Requirements

• 6-15 years of experience in ASIC/FPGA design and development.
• Proficient in RTL coding (VHDL/Verilog), digital circuit design, and simulation.
• Experience with tools like Modelsim, Synplify, and familiarity with Unix, scripting, and C/C++.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance are required.
• Strong oral and written communication skills for documenting and presenting work.
