About the position

The Contract Hardware Engineer Mid position at ManpowerGroup is a critical role within the Electronics industry, specifically focused on the design and development of ASIC I/O and supporting circuitry. This position is based in Plymouth, Minnesota, and offers a competitive pay range of $64 to $50 per hour. The successful candidate will lead the design efforts, ensuring that the requirements for analog/mixed-signal IC solutions are met, from chip-level to cell-level considerations. This includes creating, testing, and releasing IBIS models for I/O associated circuits, as well as fielding customer inquiries regarding I/O configurations. The role also involves defining block requirements, creating schematics, and performing simulations to validate designs. In this position, the engineer will be expected to leverage their extensive experience in IC design tools, particularly Siemens and Cadence, to deliver high-quality solutions. The role requires a deep understanding of various design aspects, including DDR3, PLL, and SerDes design, as well as knowledge of operating systems like Linux and scripting languages such as Perl, Shell, and TCL. Additionally, familiarity with radiation effects analysis and advanced node and SOI technology design is essential. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience and must be a U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Experience with Siemens/Cadence IC design tools.
  • DDR3, PLL, or SerDes design experience.
  • Knowledge of OS Linux, scripting languages (e.g., Perl, Shell, TCL).
  • Radiation effects analysis knowledge/experience.
  • Advanced node and SOI technology design experience.
  • Experience with Siemens Physical Verification tools and methods.
