Our client, a real estate company, is seeking a Contract HR Generalist to join their team in NYC. This role is crucial as it involves managing various HR functions independently, which includes overseeing benefits, compensation, payroll, and recruitment efforts. Additionally, the HR Generalist will be responsible for managing performance management activities within ADP Workforce Now. The ideal candidate will have experience assisting with an HR transition to a Professional Employer Organization (PEO), which is a key aspect of this position. This role requires a proactive approach to HR management and the ability to work effectively in a standalone capacity. The candidate must be comfortable going onsite five days a week in the office, ensuring that they are fully integrated into the team and can address HR needs promptly and effectively. The hourly rate for this position ranges from $40 to $48, commensurate with experience, reflecting the importance of the role within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage various HR functions independently, including benefits, compensation, payroll, and recruitment efforts.
• Oversee performance management activities within ADP Workforce Now.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in HR, with a strong understanding of benefits, payroll, and HR systems.
• Processing payroll experience required.
• Ability to handle a standalone HR function.
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now.
