About the position

Southern Veterinary Partners is seeking a highly talented Graphic Designer to create and maintain marketing assets and content for recruitment and business development. This role involves conceptualizing and designing multi-channel creative assets that align with the company's brand identity and enhance the candidate and partner experience. The designer will collaborate with various teams to produce engaging content for multiple platforms, ensuring consistency and quality across all marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize and design multi-channel creative assets that are engaging and clean, adhering to brand guidelines.
  • Ensure all corporate creative assets enhance SVP's brand identity and align with the company's culture.
  • Differentiate SVP as the preferred partner for veterinary practice owners considering selling or partnering with a veterinary consolidator.
  • Scope and create templates for the marketing team to improve efficiency across multiple channels.
  • Manage design needs such as campaign collateral, presentations, signage, and trade show materials.
  • Develop graphic templates for web/email campaigns, landing pages, print materials, and social media that support individual hospital needs.
  • Outsource to and manage freelance resources when volume exceeds capacity.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree (BFA) or equivalent work experience as an in-house designer or at a marketing agency.
  • Solid knowledge of typography, layout and composition, color theory, and other graphic design fundamentals.
  • Strong experience excelling creatively and professionally within a deadline-driven work environment.
  • Expert knowledge in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator.
  • Knowledge of video post-production and optimization is a plus.
  • UX knowledge around design principles is also a major plus.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects at once on an assigned timeline.
  • Superior attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in human or animal healthcare is a plus.
  • Knowledge of After Effects, Premiere Pro, and XD is a plus.
