About the position

Foursquare is seeking a Part-Time Contract Marketing Manager specializing in SEO and Web Experiences. This role focuses on optimizing and personalizing the company's websites to enhance user engagement and conversion rates. The ideal candidate will lead technical SEO initiatives, collaborate with various teams, and develop data-driven strategies to improve website performance. Reporting to the Director of Marketing Analytics, Operations, and Web Experiences, the position requires a blend of strategic insight and hands-on execution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical SEO initiatives to improve website rankings and organic performance.
  • Develop and implement data-driven strategies for website optimization across multiple products.
  • Conduct site architecture optimization, improving URL hierarchy and internal linking.
  • Manage web content governance, ensuring alignment with SEO best practices and UX principles.
  • Collaborate with Product, Creative, and Marketing teams for site enhancements.
  • Analyze customer journeys and ensure Core Web Vitals are met.
  • Create personalized experiences using Mutiny for targeted audiences.
  • Assist with website redesign efforts, including WordPress page creation and content strategy.
  • Ensure stakeholder signoff at key project points and communicate project status regularly.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing a B2B brand's website with a focus on SEO and user experience.
  • Strong knowledge of technical SEO, including structured data and crawling.
  • Mastery of WordPress and SEO management tools.
  • Advanced skills in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMRush.
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for effective collaboration with developers.
  • Experience in site architecture optimization and Core Web Vitals improvements.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.
