About the position

The Software Developer position is a contract role focused on developing enterprise-class applications using .NET and C#. The role requires a hybrid work arrangement, with the expectation of being onsite 3-4 days a week in either Denver or Dallas. The position may lead to a permanent opportunity, emphasizing the design and implementation of scalable REST API services and collaboration within Agile Scrum teams.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement highly scalable REST API services to handle data security and access requests.
  • Merge data from downstream services and databases, and refactor data structures and algorithms to enhance performance.
  • Develop enterprise-class applications using .NET and C#, particularly for distributed and cloud environments.
  • Participate in Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery processes.
  • Engage in database design and development using SQL and NoSQL.
  • Utilize Cloud Foundry for application deployment and management.
  • Handle Snowflake software with multiple source platforms and establish real-time experiences with the software.
  • Write unit and integration tests, ensuring code quality and adherence to Veracode processes.
  • Collaborate within Agile Scrum teams to deliver software solutions.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience developing enterprise-class applications using .NET and C#.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in software development using .NET Core and C#.
  • Experience in designing and implementing REST API services.
  • Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery practices.
  • Experience in database design and development (SQL and NoSQL).
  • Familiarity with Cloud Foundry.
  • At least 1 year of experience with Snowflake software and real-time data handling.
  • Experience in writing unit and integration tests.
  • At least 4 years of experience working in Agile Scrum teams.
  • 1-2 years of experience in handling Python applications.

  • Full stack development expertise including HTML5, Angular/Backbone, JavaScript, JSON, XML.
