About the position

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join our team on a contract basis in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data architecture, particularly with Snowflake and DBT. This role requires a deep understanding of Snowflake implementation, including the creation of Snowflake objects and a strong grasp of Snowflake architecture. The Data Architect will be responsible for designing and implementing data solutions that meet the needs of our organization while ensuring data integrity and security. Additionally, familiarity with cloud storage solutions such as Azure BLOB and AWS S3 is essential for this position. The successful candidate will work closely with other data professionals to develop and optimize data pipelines and ensure that data is accessible and usable for analytics and reporting purposes. This is a contract position, and we are looking for someone who can start immediately and contribute to our projects effectively.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data architecture solutions using Snowflake and DBT.
• Create and manage Snowflake objects to support data storage and retrieval.
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to optimize data pipelines.
• Ensure data integrity and security in all data architecture solutions.
• Provide guidance on best practices for Snowflake implementation and usage.

Requirements

• 14+ years of experience in data architecture and related fields.
• 10+ years of experience specifically in Snowflake implementation.
• Strong knowledge of Snowflake architecture and its components.
• Experience in creating Snowflake objects and managing data within Snowflake.
• Basic knowledge of cloud storage solutions such as Azure BLOB and AWS S3.
