About the position

The Research Technician will be a key member of the Research & Development department, responsible for supporting various research activities. This role involves setting up and delivering test chemicals, conducting evaluations using advanced analytical techniques, and documenting standard operating procedures. The ideal candidate will have a background in Chemistry and experience in industrial research and development.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, mix and deliver test chemicals to the test fixture.
  • Build & maintain test set-ups and carry out adsorbent evaluations using Gas Chromatography (GC), Ion Chromatography (IC), and Total Organic Carbon (TOC).
  • Carry out adsorption media development for specific applications in gas-phase filtration.
  • Document standard operating procedures for conducting required tests.
  • Identify actual or potential issues in processes and product performance troubleshooting.
  • Learn and develop skills in data interpretation and analysis of test data along with documentation.
  • Support and conduct field investigation/testing.
  • Present at Research department meetings.
  • Maintain test schedule and data/test report archive on the network.

Requirements

  • Associates to bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field.
  • 2 years of experience in industrial R&D.
