About the position

The Contract Platform Automation Engineer will be responsible for the end-to-end design, development, testing, and deployment of applications within a hybrid work environment. This role requires a strong background in automation and DevOps practices, particularly with tools like Terraform and Ansible, and involves working closely with technology and infrastructure teams to ensure efficient operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy applications end-to-end.
• Implement automation solutions using Terraform and Ansible.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and build automation processes with Jenkins.
• Investigate issues and provide timely responses to customer inquiries.
• Collaborate with team members while also being able to work independently on implementations.
• Administer Linux/UNIX systems as part of the infrastructure team.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience in Terraform, Ansible, DevOps, and Containers.
• In-depth knowledge of programming for diverse operating systems and platforms.
• Experience in Linux/UNIX system administration.
• Proficiency with project tracking software, such as Jira.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Docker, Gitlab, Kubernetes, and Cloud Technologies (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform).
• Certifications in relevant technologies are considered a huge plus.
