About the position

TW Metals, LLC is seeking a Contract Program Coordinator to join our team in Woodinville, WA. As a leading global distributor of Specialty Metals, we pride ourselves on our integrity, respect for individuals, and commitment to customer satisfaction. The Contract Program Coordinator will play a crucial role in controlling, coordinating, and analyzing all activities associated with key customer contract programs. This position involves acting as a liaison between TW Metals and contract customers, ensuring the execution and coordination of specific activities related to day-to-day operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for entering data into customer portals, creating customer orders, trackers, and manifests, as well as batching, sorting, and scanning orders. Analyzing customer order data for accuracy and compliance is essential, whether in paper or electronic format. The coordinator will also provide analysis of future raw material procurements and make recommendations on purchases using the ERP system. Invoicing customer orders in the TW Metals NexGen system and coordinating order flow between Operations and Administration are key responsibilities. Additionally, the role requires collaboration with IT to resolve any electronic data transfer issues, scanning various documents into the TW Metals TIMS system, and assisting Quality Assurance in investigating customer non-conformances. The coordinator will also be involved in cycle counting inventory as needed, attending departmental meetings, expediting emergent orders, and sourcing program-related materials to ensure competitive quality, pricing, and lead-time. The position may require occasional local travel and serving as a backup for various production cells in operations.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between TW Metals and contract customers to execute and coordinate specific activities related to day-to-day operations.
  • Enter data into customer portals and create customer orders, trackers, and manifests.
  • Batch, sort, and scan orders while analyzing customer order data for accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide analysis of future raw material procurements and make recommendations on purchases using the ERP system.
  • Invoice customer orders in the TW Metals NexGen system and coordinate order flow between Operations and Administration.
  • Work with IT to resolve any electronic data transfer issues and scan various documents into the TW Metals TIMS system.
  • Assist Quality Assurance in investigating customer non-conformances and perform cycle counting inventory as needed.
  • Attend daily/weekly/monthly department meetings and expedite emergent orders and pull-in orders.
  • Analyze and organize work cell areas and source program-related materials to ensure competitive quality, pricing, and lead-time.
  • Serve as a backup for various production cells in operations.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required; Undergraduate degree in Business Administration or related area preferred.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to prioritize workload and be self-directed.
  • Customer service or sales assistant experience is necessary.
  • Metals industry experience is preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, particularly efficient on Excel is preferred.
  • Ability to learn proprietary program (Metalware).
